Hyundai of Longview has a secret many people don’t know – their vehicles offer import car buyers tremendous value through great manufacturing, cutting-edge technology, America’s best warranty and excellent market pricing. The problem is it can be hard to break through well entrenched traditional brands like Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda. Selling a brand with less than 4% of the new vehicle market share is hard enough, but doing it in East Texas is even harder.

Using the dealership’s existing slogan, ‘You pick it out. We’ll work it out,’ we elevated the perception of the dealership to one that provided the best value in products to its customers. Messaging also exposed the larger dealerships’ bloated overheads which are underwritten by bloated car prices. This new strategy helped inform car buyers they get more for less with Hyundai of Longview.

Football Campaign

The Make Your Big Play campaign was developed to tie specifically into the football season. The effort was designed to create the perception of a national Hyundai campaign, but have separation from the competition as it was unique to Hyundai of Longview. 18 television commercials with supporting social media ran during the entire football season with individual car and SUV deals rotating every two weeks on social media.
